Arrest made after more than 150 cannabis plants seized

A man has been arrested after a large cannabis grow was found in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers attended a property off Newcastle Road, Trent Vale, yesterday (Thursday 9 October) following intelligence of an active grow.

A total of 161 cannabis plants were seized.

A 35-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of cultivating a cannabis plant a class B controlled drug.

He remains in police custody for questioning.
